Heritage Day is the Institute’s annual celebration of the achievements and promise of the sciences and technologies that shape material culture and innovation.

Festivities will include the presentation of the following awards:

  • The Othmer Gold Medal: Richard N. Zare, Marguerite Blake Wilbur Professor in Natural Science and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor, Stanford University
  • The Richard J. Bolte Sr. Award for Supporting Industries: Peter Young, President and Managing Director, Young and Partners LLC
  • The American Institute of Chemists Gold Medal: Stephen J. Lippard, Arthur Amos Noyes Professor of Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
