The Joseph Priestley Society (JPS) lecture series explores topics in science, technology, and industry through professional networking receptions and lectures by industry leaders.

About the Speaker

Kim Gingras is director of procurement at Solvay Composite Materials, the Solvay business unit that manufactures advanced lightweight materials for commercial and military aircraft, automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Gingras leads the procurement team for Solvay’s Composite Materials global business unit, with a focus on ensuring that Solvay has the right sourcing strategies in place for legacy and future growth programs. She joined Cytec Industries in 2003 and progressed through a series of commercial roles of increasing responsibility. She joined Solvay with its acquisition of Cytec in 2015.  

Gingras holds a bachelor’s of applied sciences degree in civil engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
