Library Pop-Up: What We Drink

Join us in our museum for a Library Pop-Up with our librarians and curators who will explore a selection of books that feature the concoctions that have quenched people’s thirst for centuries.

From elixirs to sodas including liquors, coffee, and tea, humans have enhanced the water they drink for medical purposes and simply taste.

About Library Pop-Ups

Library Pop-Ups offer visitors an opportunity to see the books and archives researchers travel from around the world to investigate at the Science History Institute. Held in our museum between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the second Friday of each month, our librarians and curators from the Othmer Library will share highlights from our collections through fun, theme-oriented activities and programs.

This event is free, and no registration is required. For more information contact Ashley Augustyniak at 215.873.8269 or aaugustyniak@sciencehistory.org.
