Othmer Library After Hours

Join us for our first annual library open house in honor of National Library Week!

This year’s theme, “There’s More to the Story,” encourages us to read closely, look deeper, and go behind the scenes.

Join our curators and librarians for a fun after-hours event in the Othmer Library’s reading room where you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Flip through books printed hundreds of years ago and learn how they were made
• Enjoy watching a film screening of AV materials in our archives
• Make a book-themed craft to take home
• Taste a piece of a book cake by cake artist LaraLada
• See unexpected treasures not usually on display
• Take a behind-the-scenes tour of our digitization lab
• Adopt a book from our latest acquisitions
• and much more!

Admission is free, and registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
