Emilie joined our organization in August 2015. She oversees print and web communication for outreach and events and also does writing and editing for the Science History Institute. Emilie is a humanities devotee and previously worked at the University of Pennsylvania, the Massachusetts Historical Society, and the Pennsylvania Humanities Council. She received her BA in English from Temple University and her MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College; her writing has appeared in the Huffington Post, Brevity, Apiary Magazine, and the Raleigh Quarterly.
