Joel Klein was a research fellow at our organization on three occasions. From 2012 to 2013 he worked on his dissertation, a project entitled “Chymistry, Corpuscular Medicine, and Controversy: The Ideas and Influence of Daniel Sennert.” He continued the same project from 2013 to 2014. He returned in 2017 to work on “Chymical Life in Early Modern Europe.” In addition, he served as liaison for Columbia University’s Making and Knowing project from 2014 to 2015.
