Center for Applied History
The Center for Applied History consists of a multidisciplinary team of researchers and public historians who use our collections and cutting-edge scholarly works to develop projects for both academic and public audiences.
Inspired by public-history principles of collaboration, community, and shared authority, our work focuses on socially engaged history, with immediate, relevant applications. We share the process of history and create projects, events, and experiences that allow diverse audiences of scholars, practitioners, and community members to engage directly in their own histories.
