Charlotte A. Abney Salomon

Charlotte Abney is a historian of science and technology specializing in 18th-century chemistry, mineralogy, and geology. Her forthcoming book will examine mineral science, natural history, and chemical invention and discovery in and around the Swedish mining industry.
Charlotte holds a PhD from the Program in the History of Science and Medicine at Yale University and an MA in Scandinavian history from Linköping University in Sweden. She taught middle school science and high school chemistry for six years before obtaining her doctorate.
