Clancey D’Isa

Philanthropy Manager

Clancey D’Isa joined the Science History Institute as philanthropy manager in 2025. She brings over a decade of strategic fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience, most recently as acting executive codirector at the Seminary Co-op Bookstores, the country’s largest academic bookstore. She has served on advisory councils for Bookshop.org and the American Booksellers Association and was a judge for the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction. She has volunteered her time as a projects editor with the Chicago Review of Books, served as a course instructor for Illinois Humanities’ Odyssey Project, and often writes about books. She holds bachelor of arts degrees from the University of Michigan and has a master of arts in the humanities from the University of Chicago.
