Dana Rodriguez joined the communications team at the Science History Institute in November 2018. As the organization’s web content manager, she oversees content development, site enhancements, and overall maintenance for sciencehistory.org. In addition to providing content strategy recommendations and assisting with other digital marketing initiatives including all email campaigns, she is responsible for the creation and distribution of the Institute’s weekly e-newsletter, which includes curating all content and writing all copy.
A versatile and creative storyteller, Dana has extensive experience creating, writing, editing, publishing, and managing content across a wide range of digital and traditional platforms. She has played a key role in the redesign, launch, and content maintenance of a variety of websites, including uarts.edu, templehealth.org, visitphilly.com, drexelmed.edu, panasonic.com, and bmi.com, one of the very first music industry websites to debut back in 1994.
Dana holds a BA in French and Linguistics from New York University and spent her junior year studying at NYU Paris. A South Philly native, she returned to her Philadelphia roots in 2008 after living and working in New York City and the surrounding area for more than 20 years. She currently lives across the Ben Franklin Bridge in New Jersey with her husband, two kids, and a 10-year-old rescue dog named Lucky.
