Kyriane Petit
Ullyot Scholar
Kyriane Petit is a PhD Candidate in political science at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and in the University of Lyon 2 (France). Her work focuses on the production of knowledge regarding occupational health to PFAS and more specifically how workers and scientists unite to combat these exposures. My investigation in the south of Lyon includes empirical work and trade union archives. During her stay at the Beckman Center she will work to identify the links between the history of American firms and their development in Europe and will also reflect how the design of chemical processes still have effects on industrial work today.
