Nicole Cook

Nicole was a fine-art researcher at the Science History Institute. She conducted comprehensive research on the Institute’s art objects, in particular the collections of early modern European paintings and prints related to the history of alchemy and science. Before joining the Institute, Nicole was a research fellow and curatorial assistant at the Leiden Collection in New York, one of the most significant private collections of Dutch and Flemish Baroque art today. She earned her PhD in art history from the University of Delaware in 2016.
