Penelope Cohen
Penelope Cohen was a curatorial and communications intern at the Science History Institute in the summer of 2026. She spent her time working on outreach and promotional projects, and is the author of the J. J. Thomson biography revision. Over the course of her internship, Penelope interacted with a number of audiences, including Beckman fellows, young children, and local Philadelphia businesses. She hopes that her contributions will aid the Institute in reaching new audiences.
Penelope is a student at Princeton University pursuing a major in astrophysics and minors in French and cognitive science. She is passionate about finding creative ways to inspire young audiences in STEM, as she herself was drawn to physics through superhero movies and YouTube!
