Léon Pradeau is a writer and scholar. He is finishing a dissertation on recent French and Québécois poets titled “The Construction of Bodies,” at The University of Chicago. His peer-reviewed publications include articles on poets Cécile Mainardi and Liliane Giraudon. A chapter of his dissertation is forthcoming in the collective volume The Human and the Machine in Literature and Culture: Cultures of Automation (edited by Kate Foster & Molly Crozier; Routledge, 2025). Léon is the founding editor of Transat’, a journal of poetry and poetics in French and English. His latest book of poetry is titled This Is It (Antiphony, 2025).
