Agenda

11am–3pm
Experience interactive activities designed for science lovers of all ages!

  • take an up-close look at interesting items in our handling collections
  • play food-themed games and try your hand at our food science scavenger hunt
  • learn about the shady practices of food manufacturers before the advent of laws like the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906
  • meet a mentor with Rebel Ventures, a group of student entrepreneurs based in West Philly who create healthy food for school kids 
  • explore our Lunchtime: The History of Science on the School Food Tray exhibition

11:30am and 2pm
Take a themed “drop-in” tour with our experienced Gallery Guides.

Remake Learning Days

This special Stories of Science is part of Remake Learning Days, a celebration of innovative experiences and opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance, and curiosity. Presented by Remake Learning, Remake Learning Days is a festival of events hosted by a variety of organizations.


Stories of Science takes place weekly on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free and reservations are not required.
